- A carefully designed research study that tests new treatments or approaches in people, often offering access to emerging options.

- A doctor who specializes in diagnosing and treating tumors of the brain and nervous system.
Tumor types
- Medulloblastoma · meh-DULL-oh-blass-TOH-mah
- A fast-growing tumor that starts in the cerebellum, the lower-back part of the brain. It is one of the most common malignant brain tumors in children.
Anatomy
- Posterior Fossa · pos-TEER-ee-or FOSS-ah
- The lower, back part of the skull that holds the cerebellum and brainstem. Many childhood brain tumors form here.
