A Family's First Month: Finding Footing

Please note

This is a placeholder template, not a real family's story.

Starter template. This is a placeholder demonstrating the family-stories layout. Real stories must be shared with the family’s informed consent and, where a child is involved, careful attention to their privacy and dignity.

Family stories help other families feel less alone. This space is reserved for real experiences, shared on the family’s own terms, in their own words.

When you publish a real story, focus on the human details that other families recognize: the waiting room, the first hard conversation, the small moments of ordinary life that continue alongside treatment.

Always avoid framing treatment as a “battle” or a child as a “warrior.” Let families describe their experience however feels true to them.
